IHR Research

Who really decides?

A large study of how evidence meets decisions in real companies: a survey, interviews with leaders, market experts, investors and managers, experiments, and observational data. We want to understand how human judgment can be strengthened in a rapidly changing world — and where it is quietly replaced. Field work started in September 2026.

Three questions

Q1

Are “data-driven” and “ego-driven” types of people — or modes the same person switches between depending on the decision?

Q2

Under what conditions does evidence change a decision an influential person has already made — and what happens when it doesn’t?

Q3

Does AI change what is decided — or how an already-made decision is justified?

AI output is not evidence.

Take part

Take the 4-minute survey (in English) about your last significant work decision. Leaders, market experts, investors, managers: come to an interview to talk — and argue — about how decisions get made. Interview participants receive a named acknowledgement*.
